Tourism Council WA’s Tourism workshop is a brief version of the Tourism BOOST program. This is designed as an introduction and refresher course for businesses to understand the key opportunities to participate in the Western Australian tourism industry.

This tourism workshop will assist you and your business to:

  1. Gain an understanding of the Tourism Industry
  2. Effectively participate in the Tourism Industry
  3. Increase visitation to your business
  4. Identify which tourism structures can assist in selling your product/service, how to engage with them and best promote your business

This tourism workshop will Boost will cover:

  1. General overview of the Tourism Industry
  2. Who's who and how to work with the industry
  3. The importance of Tourism accreditation and the WA Tourism Awards
  4. What is the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse
  5. Working with industry associations and government agencies
Who should attend?Suitable for owners managers and marketing staff, particularly those new to tourism and hospitality.
